Michelle brings her natural ability to identify with ADHD students of all ages, ELEVATING their confidence by ENLIGHTENING them with information about why they do what they do. Students will discover ways they can EMPOWER themselves to speak with confidence to people that need to understand their needs.
The individual sessions are sequential allowing for ENLIGHTENMENT of the individual; holding a mirror to their behaviours, having the hard conversations, and ensuring them they are not alone, and if they feel like they need to find ways to ‘fit in’ it can be done. They will discover strategies to ELEVATE their confidence and EMPOWER educational success, becoming directors of their own neurodiverse educational stories.

Session 1: Explode my brain: I am me, who are you? (1 hour)
This session is an introductory session allowing the student to see how comfortable they feel talking about their diagnosis and how it presents in their daily lives.

Session 2: Call the cleaners:
Developing strategies and plans for self-advocacy in the classroom (1 hour)
This session follows up the first session looking at identified presentations, planning for where they want to go next. The student will learn that they can be proud of who they are and that it’s OK to be neurodiverse... the first step to breaking down RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria).

Session 3: Power up the tools:
Assembling an individualised toolkit
(1 hour, with a possibility of future sessions if required)

After identifying the students chosen directions, we will work together to assemble a toolkit of strategies to take to their classrooms EMPOWERING them to speak confidently to their educators, self-advocating in a way that will ensure success. This could even involve a planned meeting with their educators.

Final session: Aftershocks:
Checking-in and adjusting strategies and tools
(1 hour)

A chance to check-in to see what is working and what needs tweaking, EMPOWERING the student to be able to self-evaluate their needs and ways to ELEVATE in the future.

Student group sessions (2-6 ADHD students)

Bringing together students facing common obstacles as a result of their ADHD allows for ELEVATION though learning together and realizing they are not alone. ADHD students can often feel isolated and unloved but by finding common bonds with peers their neurodiversity can be EMPOWERING, giving them the confidence to self-advocate at school.
